The dreadful consequences of female genital mutilation.
Female genital mutilation happens every day. In fact, more than 200 million girls and women are circumcised worldwide. These abuses have enormous consequences and they originate from old traditions that are hard to break. We helped BØRNEfonden, one of Denmark’s largest development organisation supporting children, to focus on the problem of FGM and how to prevent this practice on social media.

Design
Visually we wanted to create a graphic style that was personal, poetic and emotional, but without being too concrete and detailed. The hand drawn style with textures and simple color selection seems to accomplish this.
